WE ACCEPT CHILDCARE VOUCHERS
Planet Kids Community Interest Company has been providing childcare to the local community for over 20 years.
Our clubs are OFSTED registered, follow the EYFS guidlines, Play Work principles and work closely with our linked schools.
The children are at the heart of everything we do, we are a non-profit making organisation, so we invest everything back into the clubs to enrich the daily experiences of every child.
Our aim is to always keep the cost as low as possible to ensure we are as accessible as possible to all families that need us.
We highly value our relationships with our Planet Kids families, we value their feedback and are always available to answer any questions and offer support when needed.
"Excellent quality, professional, affordable and the staff look after the children well. A vital community resource. "
Our staff team offer a wealth of knowledge and experience with Primary School aged children. Each member of the team has an up to date and relevant DBS check, in depth and regular Safeguarding Training and there is always at least one person with Paediatric First Aid training at every session.
As a team we always work to the highest standards, ensuring we achieve this through staff training & continued professional development.
Our team are always smiling, dedicated, full of enthusiasm, bursting with fun ideas and always promoting a child led environment, allowing children to make independant choices from the resources & activities available. Ensuring that we incorporate celebrations, events and festivals in our daily planning to develop their understanding of the world.
"My son has been going to Planet Kids for years, he absolutely loves it. The team are lovely, everything is well organised, communication is great. very reliable team."
It's really simple to register with one of our term time clubs, just contact the office and we will get you started.
Firstly, you will recieve the link to register on our ipal system, then the club manager will make contact with you to arrange a visit for you and your child. This is not essential, but we do feel that it can be beneficial for your child and our team to meet and show you around, this also gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. We run a 'buddy' system for all new starters, if you feel this may be helpful to allow your child to settle in faster, the club manager will talk you through how this works.
Most of our parents book regular sessions each month, but we do accept adhoc bookings at no extra charge.
Invoices are issued monthly, payments are due via BACS or through the many Childcare voucher schemes availble, the office team will help you get started when you join us.
We can accept cash or cheques in some cases but there will be an additional processing charge.
Payments for holiday club sessions are due immediatly after booking - Keep your eyes open for special Early Bird promotions! (Please visit our 'Holiday Club' section for more details.)
